Trampoline Installation Part One.

We got a trampoline.  We’ve been saving since Christmas.  A little at a time.  And finally reached our goal and took the plunge.

Harold and our friend Dusty went to work yesterday to assemble it, and then position it in the right place in the yard.  And then dig the trenches for the legs so the tramp would sit mostly level.

Stretching the mat.

Clearly not level. But marking where the trenches need to be.

Trench digging.

Dusty and the BA Axe, obliterating the tree root in the way of the trench.

Meanwhile, the kids played in the box.  In the course of the afternoon, that box was a car, and a house and a pirate ship, and a coffin.  And a great time was had by all.

The box. Is there anything better?

Next step, installation of the safety net.  Check back.

Woo-hoo! Congratulations! You guys are going to have a blast!

By the way, Dusty and the BA Axe would be a great name for a t.v. show.

Awesome. And I suppose I will be required to jump on the trampoline a lot this summer? I’d better start my cardio training.

EXCELLENT!! I can’t wait to see the kids (and adults) in action!

And yes, the box is a close second for maximum fun! We used to make clubhouses out of refrigerator boxes when I was a kid…and roll down the alley in it! The best of times!
