To be sure, I am not a photographer. Not even close. I like taking pictures, but it’s all about capturing the moment and the people, not about the actual artistic value of the photo itself. And while I think it would be really awesome to dabble in cool photography, I don’t care to spend the amount of money necessary to have the proper camera and accessories to be very good.
Still. Every once in a while I capture a shot that I think is really cool. Here are some recent favorites:

I like them.
Those are good shots. I really like the one of Ryan – you’ve got the whole ‘in focus in the foreground/blurry just beyond’ thing goin’ on.
Is that a deer in the first photo? He has a sweet little stubby neck.
Dwelling on the SUNSHINE!!!!
My fave of those is the stained glass.
I like the church one too. It’s so calm and angular. And it’s not about winter, the Early Dark, or sports. Were you trying to take pictures of things that give me anxiety?
Yup, that church picture is award winning!!! You should send it in to a magazine contest. And calming is the 1st word that popped into my head too when I saw it. I want to sit in one of the pews right now.
(Congrats. Ryan…& nice shot of the back…excellent!)
