Dear me. Ten days.
Well, Beth, what’s been keeping you from us for so very long? Well, Bethtastic. Let me tell you:
Tim is 100% potty trained. Even poop trained. And he’s come full into the Man-Poop. The kind where he wants me to leave, and then takes 15 minutes to just sit on the potty pooping. Like the big boys do.
I got paid. Praise God. And it even happened last Friday instead of Monday because of President’s Day. Which was a welcome surprise.
The weird job thing has come to a weird resolution. But a resolution nonetheless.
I survived the gigantic fund raising effort of a Valentine Spaghetti Dinner and Silent Auction. I was really only involved full force with the auction. But the stress of it all was still enough to be glad it’s done. And it was lucrative. So, all is well that ends well.
I’m trying a new nail polish color. First impressions are that I like it. I’ll keep you posted.
Harold is taking THREE wrestlers to the State Tournament that starts on Thursday. I’m so proud of him and his boys. And taking three is monumental. It’s been only two or even just one for many, many years past. Go Mustangs!
I’ve had a bit of funk-lifting. All previously mentioned items have helped.
Our beloved cat barfed all over Tim’s bedroom floor. Thankfully I found it before I stepped in it. Unlike the last barfing which was on Tim’s bed, and was not found until I had a hand full of it in the dark getting Tim tucked in. So. That’s improvement.
I got some new things. But those are for later posts.
I had brunch with a group of college friends. It was fantastic. And I needed that.
And finally, just tonight I walked in on this little scene:

There are few things cuter than seeing a big sister read to her little brother. And even take the time to explain the story and answer all his naive questions, that typically exhaust his parents. Sweet girl.
Aw, I think those photos are funk-lifting for us all. Hooray for better things happening! Your auction was a smashing success, so ‘well done!’ I say.
HA! Those expressions are PRICELESS! (not to mention the cute little bare feet)
Dang….you have been busy, busy, busy! Wait … who says that?
Of course:

Yay! Beth’s back! Love the captions.
Max barfed the other day. He never does that. But he had just eaten a bunch of steak scraps. There’s nothing like cleaning up fresh, warm cat barf. But at least I didn’t pull my shirt collar up over my nose and then get sick myself!
A HA HA HAHA hahahahaaa. Not many people know about that story…
So which one of you did that?
Um. Perhaps I’ll post about that next…
How’s that for suspense?
