The sun. It still eludes me.
Wrestling season is long, and it’s wearing on our kids, and therefore wearing on me.
Bizarre work thing. And bizarre is probably an understatement.
Friends’ lives changing in ways that mine is not. I’m not so good with change.
Not getting paid during January. That might be the single most horrible month to not get paid. Then again, December might be worse.
Wrinkly carpet that needs to be stretched.
Not being able to fly out to Baltimore and surprise Brad for his big birthday on Monday.
But here are some things that do make the funk a little lighter:
Tim is C.U.T.E. Even when he’s crabby.
Tara is so smart. I like smart girls. Even when they’re sassy and irritating.
Sundays. Because Harold is home. I like Harold.
The sun is out for a little bit this morning. I’ll take what I can get.
Having a job. At all.
Having a house. With wrinkly carpet.
Bobbie the Wondercat. I love that cat.
Television. I know, it may seem pathetic to some, but my shows bring me great entertainment and joy.
Grandma and Grandpa being just around the corner, and so helpful.
Friends. Even if lives are changing.
And this:
(Even when I want to kill them. Figuratively, of course.)
They are 2 cuties alright!!!!
Reading is cathartic too…Thanks!!

“I like Harold.” Hee. That made me smile…thanks!
Sorry about the change. Blame Tony. And apathy.
Those cute little snoterkins, they look like they’re up to something. And cute.
Well, the bad news is that I miscounted last time I commented, and now, even though many days have passed, Spring is still 54 days away. The good news is that 54 days is the gestation period of a lemur. A lemur! Isn’t it a fun word to say? Lemur! Lemur!

The lemur is adorable!!! If you ever make it to Madagascar, you better not be hurting these little guys.
Well, it that isn’t putting the most Lutheran spin on everything, I don’t know what is! “Best construction on everything – including the bizarre and awful.”
Well written, Beth.
Again, my mind reads what it wants to. I saw your post title as “Writing can be catholic”
