Happy Half-Birthday to me…
Sunday, February 28th, 2010I was at Dollar General yesterday. I don’t go there often, and I’m not quite sure why. It’s probably the stereotypical perception of the stores, but really, I always find good deals on things and often find surprising things. Yesterday was no exception.
One of my favorite candy bars ever is a pecan log. As kids we sold them for school fund raising. And I would often get them on car trips when we stopped at Stuckey’s Truck Stops. And then as an adult I would occasionally see them at WalMart around Christmas. But really for all practical purposes they are nearly extinct. And I love them. So that makes me sad.
Until yesterday at Dollar General.
