A few days of Christmas fun!

We have had a few days of Christmas fun all in a row…

First was Tara’s Sunday School program.  They sang a few songs, interspersed with a story about how the animals might have reacted to Jesus being in their stable.  Thus the animal hats in the following pictures.

Pigs and ducks and cows, oh my!

She picked a pig, because she loves all things pink. And clearly Daddy helped her with that hat...

Next, we went to see The Princess and the Frog.  It was Tim’s first movie ever.  And we all had a great time.  Then Harold took Tara and Tim to visit Santa in his little workshop.  Tim was brave…right up to the time he sat on Santa’s lap.  Then he freaked out.

Look at Tim's lip! And I'm thinking Santa could have smiled a bit more...

But he did like looking out the window with Santa.

Tara was very brave.  But then couldn’t think of anything to tell Santa she wanted for Christmas.  Stage fright, I guess. :D

For real. Smile Santa! Or get a new winter job.

Then we had Tara’s preschool Christmas program.  She was beautiful, and did a fantastic job singing and doing all the right actions.  It was precious.

It looks like she was waving, but really it was an action in the song.

And she painted her nails especially for her program.

I wouldn’t want to sit on his lap either. Mean-looking Santa. Brighten up. You only have to work 1 night out of the year. Your cheerful elves do the rest of the work for you. So SMILE already!

Yes, I’m afraid just looking at that Santa…much less being there in person! I guess he forgot to take his jolly pill.

Your looks look adorable!! Yay for Christmas fun!

Methinks Santa needs an adult beverage…

Haha! That Santa is hilarious! I want to be a Santa when I grow up so I can glower at the camera too! :D

That’s the first time I’ve seen the inside of Santa’s house. I thought it would be bigger - like the TARDIS or something.

How did they make the cool stockings that are hanging on the wall?

They dipped objects of different-size-circle-openings and used them as stamps. They were very fun!
