Christmas Questions…
I snagged this from Swistle. And I think it looks fun. 
Eggnog or hot chocolate? Eggnog. I actually don’t care much for hot chocolate.
Does Santa wrap the presents or leave them open under the tree? Santa doesn’t wrap presents. Daddy and Mommy do. That helps the kids tell the difference. And Santa only brings three presents, as do Mommy and Daddy. Because the Three Wise Men each brought a gift to baby Jesus. And since baby Jesus got three presents, that’s the number of presents that anyone can give to someone else. It also keeps me from going out of control. Because I L.O.V.E. to buy gifts for people. It’s brings me tremendous joy.
Colored lights on a tree or white? White on my tree in the Living Room. Colored on the kids tree in the basement.
Do you hang mistletoe? No.
When do you put your decorations up? Thanksgiving afternoon, usually.
What is your favorite holiday dish? Turkey with mashed potatoes and gravy.
Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve? Yes. All of them with Harold’s family. Then we celebrate (just the four of us) on Christmas morning, and Christmas day with my family. Unless it’s different. Which happens once in a while.
How do you decorate your Christmas tree? My tree is a beautiful theme tree. With white lights, and these amazing hand-blown glass ornaments from Egypt (Harold’s aunt got them for us when they lived there), and the garland is actually ribbon from the pew bows at our wedding.
Snow: love it or hate it? I love it. Every bit of it.
Can you ice skate? Why yes. As a matter of fact, I can.
What is your favorite holiday dessert? Pecan Divinity. Or Christmas cookies - the cut out kind I make with my Grandma Hummel’s recipe.
What is your favorite holiday tradition? Going to church on Christmas Eve. The music is always amazing.
Candy canes: yum or yuck? I don’t care for them.
Favorite Christmas show? I don’t guess I really have one. My kids LOVE Frosty the Snowman.

Best Christmas moive ever: A Christmas Story. Now that I’m thinking about it, I want to watch it, but my copy is at school. Dang.

When do you put your decorations up? Usually the 1st weekend in Dec. this year it was Thanksgving weekend. Now taking them down…well, I’m too embarrassed to say.

Can you ice skate? Yes, well I could as a kid…but as an adult I get terrible cramps in the bottoms of my feet so I have to stop alot.

What is your favorite holiday tradition? Having Christmas Eve dinner & then going to 11pm church. The whole church is candlelit & very beautiful & peaceful…and I too love the singing & instrumentals.

Favorite Christmas show? Hmmm… I like several. ‘A Christmas Story’ definately. We put it on 1st thing Christmas morning. And ‘A Muppet’s Christmas Carol’.

Favorite Christmas show? Don’t tell anyone, but Lloyd loves to watch White Christmas several times a season, and I really don’t like it. Blasphemy!
Dang it! I just remembered that I have a favorite Christmas movie! Elf! I love Elf!
I love Elf too…that movie cracks me up…I’ve already watched it twice on TV this season…but I was afraid to say it.
