Let’s see. I went to Baltimore to visit Brad – and it was an awesome trip!

And then I came home and had another Thanksgiving with Harold’s side, and did a bunch of laundry and unpacked a whole lot, just in time to get sick. And all I have to say about that is, turns out a queasy stomach and uncontrollable diarrhea for four days in a row is a remarkably effective weight loss plan after a week of Thanksgiving binging.
And then I spent a bunch more time doing laundry and trying to get a grip on the untidyness of this house that resulted in my illness.
And then I did our Christmas cards.
But I’m back now. And a few pounds lighter. But that’s sure to change in the next month of Christmas binging.
How about you? Been anywhere?
Welcome back! I missed you and glad to hear you’re feeling better.
We’ve been to Sioux Falls and Beemer. I spent way too much time in Norfolk, taking care of necessary shopping. Well, 3 bags of powdered sugar might be unnecessary. That is, unless you’re going to make lots and lots of puppy chow! I carried in 11 bags of stuff. I’m planning to spend the rest of the day at home.
Welcome home. Glad yall had a great trip. Sorry about being ill though. Hope this came on after you got home. Dealing with that while flying is not fun at all.
Well, I went skiing at Keystone, CO the weekend before Thanksgiving. The skiing was awesome. Can’t wait for the next trip either in December or January. For Thanksgiving I went down to Concordia, MO. The whole family was there and got to talk to some friends. Heading down to KC on Saturday. Going to Chicago on Tuesday for just the day (this is a work trip, ugh).
the word “uncontrollable” should not ever come before the word “diarrhea”. Ever. Also, working some laxatives into Thanksgiving meals might start to be the trend if the diet is as good as you say
That’s a really nice picture!
I was going to ask why it was a whole week w/o a post…but I didn’t want to seem pushy. Sorry about the sickness…but if you think you picked it up at Brad’s, maybe I’ll go stay with him for like a month…to get rid of all the extra me from my unemployed-watching way too much TV-except for breaks to be on the computer or go to the movies days. Oops.
How awful! I am so, so, so sorry. Now that you’re better – you have a heap to do! Hooray!!!
Charles and I went to Carson City, NV. He has a Call there.
Yuck, glad you’re better. We went to California for a few days last week and are headed to Missouri next week for a few days.
It’s funny that you should mention Baltimore. That’s where I’ve been for the past several weeks.
We were in Concordia enjoying the Buesing Family Thanksgiving/Christmas. I’m always surprised at how nice it is to be back there and how much I actually miss that town. Sorry we missed you, Curt. But I did see Jenny in church Wednesday nite (I don’t think she recognized me), and I got to see Ann Wolters, Gina Oetting, Kent Kunkel and Lee Hagen. It was fun.
Add in some antibiotics for a sinus infection and I’m ready for my first colonoscopy!
Oh, and Beth, Zoloft does the same thing to me – I’ve had that problem for quite few months now. While unpleasant, it’s been pretty helpful at getting rid of the baby weight.
