My kids are barfing. There are pros and cons to this.
The cons:
Barf.
Smelly barf.
In Tara’s hair.
Lots of laundry.
No fun Huskers game for Beth tonight. And Harold is merrily trying to find someone to go to the game with him. Which makes me hate him just a little.
Barf. Because, really? Isn’t that ALWAYS a con?
The pros:
At least it’s not Monday night (when we’ll be traveling to KC to catch a flight to Baltimore – yay!)
At least it’s not in Baltimore.
At least it’s the weekend and Harold is mostly home to help.
I got to go to WalMart this morning at 6am for more detergent. And going to WalMart by myself is always a little joy.
At least it’s both of them at the same time so there’s no wondering when the other one is going to get it.
Yea. That’s all I have.
Just keep thinking about the pros. The best one is that they both have it at once. I also like that barf lasts about 24 hrs. It’s horrible, but it’s done fairly quickly.
Way to be positive Beth!! Hope you all are doing better!!
Bleh. You poor woman. I always liked Deborah’s suggestion that washing machines should come with garbage disposals just for situations like this.
Do you think they could stay in hamster-like play bubbles while they’re here? Even if they didn’t need to for quarantine purposes, that would still be cool.
Ugg. I’m so sorry. I’m with Deborah, though. At least it’s at the same time and NOT next week.
Why can’t YOU go to the game and Harold stay home, she asked sarcastically. I want to be a boy.
The real question is, can you avoid getting it?
I have a worse one. We spent piles of money to rent a condo with some friends in Salt Lake City and have our first taste of real mountain snow. The day after we got there, Susana got sick (and I took care of her). After we purchased tickets for the first mountain, Daniel threw up all over the waiting area, and I took him back to the place (and I took care of him). By the time we got to the second mountain, I was not feeling well and essentially couldn’t ski. On that mountain, Leo fell and tore up his knee (and I took care of him). (And me.) I could ski at the third mountain, but it was near-blizzard conditions and we had to cover every square inch of body part with effective wind and water protection. Then we went home.
guk. sorry dear
You should just live here. Then you could go anytime you wanted.
Oh yes! Here is Colorado, right?
