It uses a little brown sugar to give it a special kick. We now don't use any boxes, because this recipe is so good and quick. Interestingly, it also is half whole wheat, half white. Great, now I want to buy a camping pie iron and also experiment with pennies on a griddle. I'm glad to see you also have eggs and bacon with waffles. It's like having breakfast out in your house. I haven't made waffles in quite sometime now. I think it's because my waffle iron is <b>all </b>the way downstaris.
