Cruel Girl Jeans.

WARNING!!  Images of an extremely white tummy, soft from growing two babies to follow.  WARNING!!  WARNING!!

Well.  Now that that’s out of the way and you have continued reading, I will also say if you make disparaging comments about my belly, I’ll delete you.

Because there’s no other way to ask this question…

Are all jeans like this?  Or is it this particular brand - Cruel Girl?  Or has growing two babies shifted my bell button right of center?

I own two pairs of these jeans.  Both the same brand.  One a bit newer than the other.  And this isn’t right.  Or is it?
Exhibit A. Button and zipper left of center.

Exhibit B. Button and zipper left of center.

What gives?

Definitely the brand of jeans. Just cruel.

It’s like an optical illusion because both bottons seem to be in the middle I’m sure it’s the jeans…although I had several things shift after having my kids.

That’s weird. But maybe mine are the same and I just haven’t noticed. I’m going to check it out.

Where do you buy cruel girl jeans?

A place in Lincoln called “The Fort”. It a western outfitter - which loosely means a cowboy store. But they have about a million jeans of different brands and cuts, and so I go there because I can always find a pair that fit.

Country stores. I just checked, and the closest one is 30 miles away. Nevertheless, the next time I’m in the market, I’m going to make a field trip to try some on. (I hate buying jeans…)

That is one. flat. tummy. I think it’s the jeans. There’s more fabric from the belt loop to the button area. Maybe it’s made so that you don’t have to reach as far to unbutton?

Well, first of all - BRAVO for your tummy! It is not gushy at all - it looks positively ripped.

Not being willing to show anyone my own tummy, I can tell you that I just traipsed all over this house to try on my four pair of Cruel Girl jeans. (two ancient pair in the laundry room, two new pair in reserve). Mine line up with my belly button, but the right (my right) belt loop is farther away from the button by 3/4 of an inch. I’ve never noticed that before. Mine are ‘Boot Cut’ - what’s your style?

Hmmm… Maybe your camera is crooked.

My jeans all line up with my belly button. But I wear Levi’s. The name of your jeans cracks me up.

It’s the jeans - the belt loops and amount of fabric from the button/zipper to each pocket are not even close to the same. All my jeans line up, but, I do have a pair of Lee Rider casual pants that are slightly left of center - very annoying.
