What’s your favorite color? And has it changed over the years?
Mine is green. It’s been green for a couple decades now, dating back to high school, and even 7th and 8th grade. In my early years it was pink. With a short stint of yellow and purple. But mostly pink. Now, it’s green. Crayola Crayon green. John Deere green. Green.

I don’t think I have a favorite color anymore. Perhaps I never did. It depends on the object. I LOVE orange & yellow balloons…but don’t care for yellow flowers very much…I like sage walls, but not sage teeth; I like black clothes, but black plants are never good. If push comes to shove…I’d say my favorite color is pink…or burgundy…or sea foam green.
PS Why is your site pink & not green?
I believe green and brown together – it’s the majority of what’s in my closet, so that must be so. Darker, muddier greens, though. (I think I subconsciously want to be a tree.)
Mine is purple – it has been for as long as I can remember.
Interestingly enough, Arron and I were out by ourselves in August (mom and dad were watching the kids) and he jokingly said it was like a first date; then he asked what my favorite color was. He was shocked, SHOCKED, when I told him purple. He thought it was blue or green, but certainly not purple. I was glad we got that straightened out.
It’s hard for me to pick one color. I would probably have to say blue. That’s been pretty constant.
Right now, I really like orange and pink together, but I’m not allowed to wear them because they look too girly.
In my garden, I always try to plant flowers that are of a color I don’t like. I gradually come to like it, then I switch to a new color. This coming year will be all about white flowers. I don’t like white flowers.
Because pink is a close second. I love pink. And pink is my favotire color to wear. I love green, but don’t wear it very much because I have blue eyes with red hair. And I don’t like people assuming I have green eyes. Because I love my blue eyes more than I love wearing green. So I wear pink. Thus a pink website. With flowers at the top. Because I am also very girly. Very. And pink is more girly than green.
(How’s that for an explanation going toooooo long?)
I’d have to go with red. It complements my dark brown hair and dark brown eyes. It makes me look alive instead of pale, pale, pale.
Red is my favorite color -to wear- and my favorite of all the colors.
mine is purple, too. It used to be the bright crayola purple, but now it’s more of a wine color. It’s a color I really can’t get away from.
Green and Brown are my favorites too. My favorite wall in our house is painted Kodiak Brown, its the color of super dark brownies and our bedroom is sort of the color of eucalyptus leaves. One exception is every 4 years when my favorite color is blue:)
