Busy Weekend.

What a busy fun weekend.

First, Harold and I set to the Lincoln Stars Hockey game on Friday evening.  Complete with funnel cake.

The Stars won in overtime. It was a fabulous game!

They use a lot of smoke effects at the beginning of the game during intros...it made Harold's eyes really red.

Mmmm...funnel cake...

Then, we went to the Huskers game on Saturday.  I forgot my camera.  But really, it’s ok, it wasn’t a particularly good game for the big red.  Despite the loss, I always have fun at those games.

On Sunday we spent most the day outside winterizing.  Cleaning gutters, cutting peonies, planting daffodil bulbs and raking.  Lots and lots of raking.  Then some football watching.  Too bad we don’t get many Steelers games because of regional coverage…
The kids even did some helping.

But mostly they jumped in the leaves.

What a great weekend indeed! I went to an ARMY hockey game last year & it was great fun! I hope to go to another one this year.

Sorry about not being able to watch your Steelers. Joe had some friends over to watch our game & I had such a headache, what with all their yelling & screaming & cussing jumping & crying!
