Happy Birthday to ME!! How about yours…baby picture edition!
Today is my birthday. In fact just this very minute (of posting) I am officially old enough to be president. So, in the event of some catastrophic event that wipes out our government, rest assured that I would take the helm. And be old enough to qualify.
My first birthday present arrived last night. My friend Tara B. made a beautiful cake. It might be the prettiest cake I’ve had for my birthday since Mom let us pick one from the cake book and carefully crafted it herself. It’s beautiful. And fits quite perfectly with my theme colors here at Bethtastic. See:

In honor of my birthday, today is the second edition of “How about yours?” The baby picture edition. Scan or take a picture of your own baby picture, email it to me at bpester at yahoo dot com, and I’ll post it. I’ll start us off:

(I thought about doing a quiz. But. I didn’t. Mouse over to see who.)
Now, how about yours?
Happy, happy day!
Happy birthday little sister!
How strange that I didn’t just meet you at the end of my run on exactly the same sidewalk square that I met you three days earlier this week. And then we could have exchanged awkward hellos that made me feel like my lack of social withitness was able to negate your superior people skills. Ah well, maybe tomorrow…
Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Beth…happy birthday to you!!! (Nice cake, btw!)
Happy Birthday President Beth…
And Excellent idea! I hope alot of people send them in….I love to guess who people are. I wonder if you could number the pics & we’ll have to guess who everyone is.
Useless Info.: My mother & I were chosen to be in a nursing manual when i was a newborn. It was before I could do any tricks. I have the manual, still.
Oh and BEAUTIFUL cake Tara B!!!!
Happy Birthday! I see you had a cool phone at a young age.
Vote for Beth!
Happy Birthday!!!!!!!
Happy Birthday! …er… two days late…
I wonder if, as I get older, my birthday wishes to friends and family will get later and later. Maybe eventually I’ll be a full year behind and I’ll be right on time, but celebrating the wrong age.
Happy Birthday Beth! It seems like just 1.66 years ago you were turning 33 1/3!
Hehe…you’re a mathmatical whiz machine!
And I guessed your kid picture was you Karla & I’ve never even met you! But Brent & Brad really stumped me!
ATTENTION PHYLISOPHICAL LAUREN: all others skip ahead
These pictures remind me of one of my ponderings: Noses.
Why do we all start out with the same little noses? The same size…the same shape. All of us. The baby nose. Then most people grow out of their baby nose. They lose the little nub they started out with & cultivate a unique, handsome, special nose that’s just theirs. I didn’t. I still have the generic baby nose.
No other face part changes as much as the nose. On most of us.
Most adult noses have absolutely no resemblence to their baby nose. Brad is a good example.
I think my nose went into overdrive. I could have stopped growing a few years earlier than it did.
Silly girl….you don’t have a big nose…and that’s not what I meant. You can usually tell someone in their little kid pictures by the eyes, or smile, or eyebrows, … but never by the nose. ‘Cause they’re all the same. People make fun of my nose all the time…because they claim it never changed. I would like a nose of character…a nose that’s straight & grown up looking. Hmmm….Michael Jackson’s plastic surgeon should have some free time now…
I e-mailed a photo - did it get lost, or are my vampire skills taking over?
It must have been spammed. I don’t know why yahoo does that to you…
