There’s an episode of Curious George (or Clifford) where a dogwash comes to town. A traveling dogwashing rig that parks on the street and everyone merrily brings their dogs to be washed and groomed.
A few weeks ago, Tara called to me from the living room asking why there was a dogwash across the street. I figured there was just a trailer parked there and told her I was sure it was just a trailer and that it wasn’t an actual dogwash, because I wasn’t aware traveling dogwashes even existed. She insisted. And when Tara insists, it requires investigation.
At first, I said it’s a just a trailer.

But upon further investigation:

Sure enough. A dogwash.
I can’t read what it says about Annapolis. I would have thought it would say something about the Naval Academy. Or does it? “Annapolis: Where Naval Academy people learn to rescue dogs in the water.”
I think the Navy only rescues seals.
(finally, I’m all punned out)
Or is it a dog frolicking in the bay?
It says this:

Yeah, I always think of …. dogs … when I think of Maryland. Seriously? They didn’t put a picture of a crab on the U-Haul? Maybe the dog is barking for help because his feet are being attacked by crabs. Yeah, that’s probably it.
Yep, it’s an odd one, that’s for sure.
