Saltdogs Game.

Lincoln has a minor league baseball team called the Saltdogs.  Yea.  It’s a weird name.  The baseball park is built right next to Salt Creek.  Thus the Saltdogs.  Anyway.

We went to Tara and Tim’s first Saltdogs game last night.  It was Seward Community night, and there were a whole bunch of Sewardites there.

Tim’s favorite thing was the Dippin’ Dots ice cream.  See:

He was actually finishing Tara's bowl. After finishing his own. He likes it. They should put him in a commercial.

And he even made it on the big screen because he’s so dang cute.  And watching him eat was too hard to resist.

See him? Huge Tim. And look at that ominous sky. It's been very rainy around here lately.

Tara’s favorite part was being by the berm.  We actually had seats, but they were right next to the berm, and she had great fun running around on the grass and log rolling down the berm.  And eating popcorn, nachos, cotton candy and ice cream.

 Tara. Loving it.

She made it on the big screen, too.  But I wasn’t quick enough, so I didn’t get a picture.  She looked very serious.  And then noticed herself on the screen and got very self-conscious.  So she ducked down behind a chair so the camera couldn’t get her.  Which caused a great amount of laughter from the stands.  Also cute. :D

We’ll go back.  Maybe when Uncle Brad comes.

I have never had Dippin’ Dots ice cream. It seems strange, but there’s never been an opportunity.

Congratulations on your famous kids. Will you be taking them to commercial auditions now?

    Mmmmmm…..Dippin’ Dots….. it’s the ice cream of my future…..

Did you know that Annette got hit with a foul ball to her knee that night? Ouch!!!!!

I LOVE Dippin’ Dots too! Or do I just love eating something that looks so cool, something you would never expect to taste like ice cream…but it does! Amazing! Now if they would just come up with some healthy foods shaped in fascinating little shapes, I’d could be the next Denise Austin!

Tim’s picture enjoying the dots is tooo adorable! And Yippee for your kids being on the jumbo tron! Ehhxcellent!

    Awesome first game!

Not many people know. The sound was very much like as if it had hit the cement. Probably why the old man four rows back who got MY FOUL BALL wouldn’t give it up…jerk!
