At last.

I’ve been waiting a while to write about these little babies.

Pesto, Persimmon, Espresso, White and Penne.

Remember Lauren’s post about her sweet little bowls? Yea.  Well.  Apparently some things I just can’t resist.  Like cash cans, and measuring bowls.  In my defense, Dad got me the cash can/mormon holy water carrier (ha!  Did you read about that in the comments?), and while I did get a set of these for myself, I got the other four for friends.  And since half of them have been delivered to their Baltimore owners, I can finally show the pictures of them.

 So pretty.

Aren’t they beautiful all together like that?  So pretty.  In so many colors.  Lloyd suggested I make five sets with one of each color.  Which I would have done.  Except for my severe OCD about such things.

Anyway.  They’re Mario Battali measuring bowls.  And I love them.

So useful.

White? That’s all they could come up with? Pesto, Persimmon, Espresso, WHITE, and Penne? They could at least have said Eggshell or Creme Fresh.

I LOVE my Persimmon bowls! I still haven’t cooked anything, but that’s usually more of a weekend pursuit for me anyway.

They are so pretty all stacked up like that! It was like having a Target display right in your own house!

My son David just bought a set of those bowls at TJ Maxx. He’s traveling to Costa Rica over Easter break on a mission trip and is looking for gifts for his host family. He was excited about this purchase because he was told they cook a lot in La Paz.
