That is so cute…and so hilarious. “My real mommy…” HA!
Isn’t it great? And I love that you can capture it on the blog!
Cheers to the real mommy!!
I still have my kids stories from pre-school…precious indeed! What wasn’t so precious was when Matt was in kindergarten & the lesson was traffic lights. “Who knows what the yellow light is for?” asked the teacher. Matt confidentlly raised his hand & said, “It’s your last chance to get thru” D’oh. Teacher: “WHO TOLD YOU THAT?” Matt: “My mom.” Teacher: “Well, that’s not correct. Now lets memorize this song–Red on top, green down below, red means stop, green means go, yellow means WAIT, even if you’re late” Mom: blah, blah, blah….
Lloyd is going to LOVE your story!
Beth, you’re the real Mommy in my book, too.
Heh. That’s why I could never teach elementary school. I would totally be telling kids that yellow means “It’s your last chance to get through!”
“Real mommy” … hehe
