Yes. If you didn’t know, we’re a whole family of Steelers fans. And, if you didn’t know, they won last night and are now headed to the AFC Championship game against the Baltimore Ravens. And, if you also didn’t know, there are a few Rat-bird Ravens fans that frequent this site…so…there may be a bit of competition here the next few days.

I’ve always thought of pigeons as flying rats. In my mind, ravens are more like flying carp. But “Go Flying Carp!” doesn’t have as good a ring to it as “Go Rat Birds!”
Of course, I have no personal stake in this contest. Except that if the Ravens do well, we may have more dress-down days at school so we can wear purple clothing (of which I have very little).
Ask Peggy. I’m sure she’ll let you borrow something.
