Ten.

Happy Anniversary to us! :D

December 30, 1998, 5:55pm.  Yes, I know the exact time.  Strangely Harold’s ex-girlfriend’s Mom told us what time we were pronounced husband and wife as we were ushering guests out of the church.  It’s one of the coolest things anyone told us all day, and now we make a habit of checking our watches when we’re attending a wedding, and telling the bride and groom the same thing.  Very cool.

Haven't aged a nimute. And never mind those 20 pounds. ;)

We’re flying to Chicago today.  To have pizza and go to the top of the Sears Tower (unless I get chicken), and then flying home.  Just for fun…and we needed to do something memorable to celebrate our tenth, right?

You invited Harold’s ex-girlfriend’s mom to your wedding?

Happy anniversary! I hope Chicago is a blast. I mean… I hope it doesn’t blow up… I’m just hoping you have a good time. With no explosions.

I think you just picked that church because of the amazing stained glass behind you. That is gorgeous!

It was a great wedding - a full house despite a terrible blizzard! Have fun in Chicago!

We went up the Sears Tower for one of our anniversaries. I think it was our 2nd. We were on our way back to NY from grad school in Seward.

Yay Chicago!! Where are you going for pizza? I hope it’s not a Pizza Hut, because there are much better places here. ;) Happy Anniversary!

Oh yeah, if you pay enough money when you’re in Chicago, you may be able to buy a seat in the US senate. It might be a nice anniversary present for Harold. Just a thought. :D

Oh, for our ten year anniversary, we watched the Reagan funeral. Good times…
