Tara’s Preschool Christmas Program

It was awesome. :D   I have a few video clips, here they are:

“In a little stable…” Eva is on the left side of the clip (Tara’s right), and her Grandpa and Grandma were sitting in front.  I think that’s who Tara keeps looking at.  Tara is drawn to smiley grandmas. :D

 “Out Santa will pop!”

Here are a few pictures of the event:

Her contribution to the festive backdrop.

 In a little stable...

She sang everything, but she didn't really get into the actions. What is she, Lutheran?

She was very concerned with staying on the blue dot on the floor. And a little distracted by the fact that there were lots of people...and the other kids weren't staying on their dots. That's Grace waving to her Mom. :)

Once it was done, she was happy to not be confined to her floor dot.

Tara looks BEAUTIFUL!! Treasure these days!

And soon she’ll learn to delight in the applause…oh to sing & then hear an applause…instead of “You lipsinc from now on…”

  2. Deborah G. says:

It’s nice the teacher can carry a tune. Sometimes they can’t, and that’s unfortunate.

  3. Jill says:

They all look so cute! Were they seperated by gender? :-) It’s funny that Tara sang all of it and didn’t do the actions…Kayla did the exact opposite! I attributed it to her missing a few days of school. Love Tara’s dress, btw.

  4. Beth says:

Tara’s class is nine girls and one boy, so they weren’t separated by gender, you just don’t see Tristan.

  5. Kristi says:

Those unfortunate souls who can’t carry a tune need YOU, Deborah. You do still have your Excellence in Music Award, don’t you?

  6. Lauren says:

Ha – ‘confined to her floor dot’. Hooray for freedom! I loved the videos! Children singing must bring God the greatest joy. :)

  7. Brad says:

The floor dot business would have distracted me, too. They didn’t stay on their dots?!? Arrgh!

  8. Beth says:

Yea…notice Tara’s feet in the pics and the videos…they barely move. She was told to stand on the dot, by golly, and that’s what she did. What were those other hooligans thinking! :D

  9. Jill says:

    That’s funny. Lucky guy.

  10. Deborah G. says:

I believe it was Excellence in Children’s Choir Directing.
