Happy All Saints Day!

Yea…since Halloween was actually yesterday, I had to come up with a different title…but really this is all about Halloween. :D

What a fantastic Halloween!  After a fun birthday party for baby Juliet who turned one yesterday, and a little time to play with Martin, Kayla, Parker and Juliet, we had dinner with the Fahrnbruchs at McDonalds.  Then we went trick-or-treating.

Tara was a pro this year.  She knew exaclty how to do it…and managed a huge haul.  Tim was a little intimidated by the in-your-face-college-girls.  We trick-or-treat at David Dorm on Concordia’s campus…12 hallways of candy gathering, all indoors and warm, excellent.

Tim is cute, and college girls all come charging at him to acknowledge his cuteness.  He’s also bashful.  Thus, he was intimidated.  The funniest part was when he got to pick his own treat from the available candy in the bowl, he always picked a sucker.  Always.  He now has about 43 suckers.  That should last him until next Halloween.

Ballerina and Leopard.

They didn't really want a picture together. So they sat like boys do in movie theaters...

Little leopard.

I think you can understand why the college girls mob him. Yes?

THAT is joy. Pure.

Just like the real ballerinas.

I think her favorite part was the lipstick. Have I mentioned that this little apple has not fallen far from her tree?

 Beautiful ballerina.

What could be in Tim's bag?

Suckers. Probably not 43...I didn't actually count. But still a bunch of suckers.

1st I have to say ADORABLE & BEAUTIFUL!!! Oh how I miss the days of making Halloween costumes for my kids!!

2nd–I have to say–I LOVE the treat-or trick bag!! I must have one! Did you make it!! I as a child used a brown grocery bag or a pillow case—my kids used the plastic ones—but I would use that bag as a purse in October…honestly!

3rd–Thanks for posting all the fun pictures!! Pure joy indeed!!

Happy Halloween! They look great, and I’m sure they had a blast. Indoors was the right choice - who wants to be a ballerina in a parka?

Ha! Green mouth in picture number two.

I don’t suppose they’re old enough for trading yet, are they? I remember trading as a kid. I’m sure Brent ripped me off in trades, then I continued the proud tradition by ripping you off. “I’ll give you TWO gumballs for only one full-size candy bar.”

Great pictures! I love that leopard costume. I don’t remember Tara ever wearing that one……did she? Easy to see why the girls were a little crazy over him. Tara’s costume was pretty too. Did I hear you say that was something you wore when you were her age?

Yes. To both. The ballerina outfit was a dance recital outfit of mine when I was little. Isn’t that a riot?
And Tara did wear the leopard costume. October 2006. Only I put pink bows by the ears so everyone would know she was a she-cat! :D
