Playgroup Pumpkins.
Happy Halloween!! (I’ll have cute pictures of Tara and Tim in their costumes for tomorrow…)
Last week for playgroup I got a bunch of pumpkins on clearance and we carved pumpkins. It really was quite fun, however messy. Tara was getting a little irritated with my sporadic help as I stopped to take pictures (as evidenced in the first shot especially. Heh.). But didn’t they turn out CUTE?

I didn’t do a pumpkin this year. I never know what to do with it when I’m done, so I just throw it in the back yard. Usually rats take care of food I toss out there, but I don’t think they like pumpkin. So then there’s a pumpkin carcass there all winter.
I did a cool pumpkin too early, so it’s wilted remains are on my back porch ….
What amazing pumpkins… yay playgroup & helpers!!!
What do you use to mend a broken pumpkin?
(A pumpkin patch)
I have an idea for you that I think you’ll like, oh, neat one. We were invited this year to a pumpkin party. BYOP. And the woman get’s these plastic drop cloths and puts them all over the floor of the living, kitchen dining, moves the furniture out of the way, and then kids & parents can have at it, and you just roll up the gunk in the plastic.
Voila! A clean house!
They’re awesome! I like happy jack-o-lanterns - they’re my favorite. Four in a row is just pure happiness.
