First field trip.

Tara went on her first official field trip today.  The plan was originally to go to the pumpkin patch, but with more than 3 inches of rain in the past 48 hours and a high today of 44 degrees, that was nixed.  Instead we went to a place called Lost in Fun

It was a crazy, loud, in your face atmosphere…which made Tara a little nervous.  I don’t blame her, I was always a little uneasy in places like this as a child…and I find that I still am a bit weirded out by the thought of jumping around in a bounce house and crashing into people I don’t even know.  Heh.  I never went to rock concerts either.  So, the little red-haired apple has not fallen far from her tree.  Anyway, I digress.

It was pretty fun once Tara figured out that we could just watch something until the other kids were bored with it and left, then she could have it to herself.  Or have it to herself and Eva.  See:

 Fly Tara! Fly!

Tara and Eva on the seesaw.

Popping bubbles. With one finger. And that's Grace catching them on her tongue. Heh.

This is Tara's - I don't like to share - face. It needed to be documented for posterity.

Lunch in the van with Eva. It just doesn't get any better than this.

In the second-to-last picture, it looks like Tara is doing Tai-Chi. Hehe.

Whew! What a good alternative plan. I’m pleased to see that she still got to use her cool pink lunch box!

Oh, it looks like good fun! I remember when the kids were little there was this place that had huge mazes that kids and adults could climb in. Aside from the bruised knees, I really liked that.

In the last picture, both girls look wiped out. It’s hard work - that playing.

So we made it last Saturday! What a fun place!!!!!
I just don’t have the business brain. Otherwise, it would be nice to have something like that next to Subway!
