Painting at Playgroup!

We have a playgroup that meets Friday mornings at our house.  There are quite a few Moms and kids who come and it’s always a good time.  Always.

This morning was a little crisp, which means that outside activities would probably be cut short so we could warm up inside.  Having that in mind, I decided to try something new.  Painting!

Eden, Tara, Eva. Left to right.

Some painting. Some spraying.

It was a hit with the big girls especially!  I clothespinned a big stretch of butcher paper to the bushes.  I put paint and makeshift brushes (a clothespin with a hunk of sponge at the end) out, and tried a fun little thing I read about somewhere a while back.  I diluted some paint in water and put it in spray bottles.  I think the spray bottles were the favorite item.  Tara, Eva and Eden (decked out in Daddy’s/Mr. Pester’s t-shirts) were amazing artists!

 All fun. :D

Awesome idea with the spray bottles! Keep them practicing and then set them up in the town square this (or is it next) 4th of July!! Cha-ching!

Or you could hire the girls out to do interior wall painting. They’d probably work for peanuts… literally! You’d make all the money. Awesome!

Excellent! And the best part is you don’t have to clean up paint INSIDE your house! Love it!

Absolutely awesome! What will you / did you do with the final product?

I have no idea. It’s still hanging on the bushes outside…
