One. A continuation…

UPDATE:  Tim’s check-up went really well yesterday (aside from the three shots and the finger prick, that caused a considerable amount of drama).  He’s 26 lbs and 31.5 inches, a bit of a giant in the 12-month world, but he’s awesome – healthy and strong!  YAY!!

Original Post: Tim’s birthday was really fun.  Seems posting about it has taken a while, what with the festivities of the Fourth and the craziness of holding a contest…but at last…

Happy Birthday Tim!  What a great little man you are!

He was a little nervous about his cupcake at first...

But he got used to the idea!

A clever shot by Aunt Bev. Isn't that cute? :)

Watching Tara and cousin Anna open his presents for him.

His real joy! The Tim is for scale.

We go for his one year check-up today…I’ll update late with his stats!

OMGoodness … these pictures are too cute … LOVE the expression on his face while the girls are opening his presents!

Stats: cute, athletic, sweet, tough, skilled beyond his year

  2. Lauren says:

Hooray for cake! (It was delicious, by the way.)

I wish I had a bed that was a ball pit. I bet that would be pretty comfortable.

  3. Deanne says:

He is GERBER BABY cute! I just want to squeeze those little cheekies!

  4. Brad says:

I think he was nervous about the giant audience he had while eating the cupcake. Weren’t there like twenty of us in the kitchen all looking at him while he ate? It would have made me a little self-conscious.

  5. Beth says:

He was a little cautious in diving in…stage fright?

  6. Michele says:

Side note: I want the lime-green sandals of the woman in the fourth picture!

Yeah Tim – congrats on no “messy-face” pictures (i.e. no cake up the nose!)

  7. Karla says:

26 pounds!! At 18 months, Anna was a very petite 21.5 pounds. Hard to believe she started out at a hefty 9-4.

  8. Beth says:

Yea, he’s our man-child. In his defense, his Daddy was a head taller than the next tallest kid in his class (and bigger, of course) until some time in 5th grade (when a girl hit a growth spurt). He’s from big stock! :D

  9. Deanne says:

They all have their ways of growing…
