Budding florist.

Tara put together this bouquet yesterday.

She also picked every dandelion she could find to put in a vase for Daddy.

Mrs. K., our backyard neighbor has some nice forsythia bushes that we trimmed a bit to make this nice arrangement.  I think she’s a budding florist - it’s beautiful!

You should train her in the ancient art of Ikebana, also known as kado, or the “way of flowers”. It would make our ancestors proud.

Oh, wait… “BUDDING florist”? I thought you said “BUDDHIST florist”.

Never mind.

That’s right - Mommy gets the beautiful forsythia, and Daddy gets ALL of the dandelions.

It’s a lovely study in yellow. It really makes those folders pop!
