Nothing…

Nothing seems to trump cute pictures of family/kids…so finding a post to follow my last one was a challenge.  Rather than post a picture of anything at all, I’ll admit to my “painting Tara’s toenails” story…

I really wanted for Tara’s nails to look nice for our pictures.  I wanted ALL of them to look nice, but I resigned myself to just getting her toenails done after many failed attempts to trim and paint her fingernails.  She does a pretty good job painting those herself, but man they’re long and scraggly…I digress…

So, when Jill, Kayla and Luke were visiting, we got the polish out.  In a weak moment, Tara agreed to let me paint her toenails…but only if I crawled under the kitchen table and painted them from under the table, sitting on the floor, while she painted her fingernails…and so…

I did.

(Anything for good pictures…)

Speaking of good pictures – I want to see a picture of you under the kitchen table!

I think you have the makings of a salon idea! You could serve lunch and have pedicures at the same time! “Pizza and Polish”!

    Polish (dogs) and Polish!
    Ha!

I think it would just be handy to have someone sitting at your feet while you eat. “Oops! I dropped a pepperoni. Would you pick that up and give it to me? Thanks. Mmmm… floor food…”

    Me too!!!

I do this kind of thing for my children on a regular basis. The best thing is… they’re starting to do things for me now, too! Like, yesterday, Susana got me a glass of orange juice without complaining one word or even giving me a nasty look!
