A good day.
Happy Mother’s Day to me, happy mother’s day to me, happy mother’s day dear Beth! Happy Mother’s Day to me!
Today was a good day. A nice church service, a great dinner of steaks and sweet corn at Mom and Dad’s, a long nap, and supper at the park with Harold’s family… And, to make matters even more enjoyable, I’m choosing not to do my homework tonight. I’ll take the late grade, and I’m old enough to be completely ok with that.
A good day!

Outside pictures in Nebraska always look so idyllic. What’s up with that? Doesn’t it ever look dirty there? I mean, I try to take a picture of a single flower and there’s a Butterfinger wrapper in it. You take a picture of a whole park and it looks spotless!
I thought it was common knowledge that after the Great Explosion of 1927, not only was Kool-Aid dicovered, but also millions of microbes were morphed into giant aerobic macro-organisms capable of eating the trash of an entire continent.
Our state does show up well in photos. It’s to trick people into visiting us. In real life it can be a bit disappointing. We’ve got tons of sky, though!! Tons!
No pictures of the honored mother? But wait… There could be no mother without the cute little girl and man in the pictures.
