They have scheduled ones at 8 and 20 weeks. Since my doctor has a machine right in her office, I talked her into one at 14 weeks so we could find out early that we have a little boy...and this one (as well as the one they'll do in 4 weeks) I'm getting specifically because when I was pregnant with Tara, at 32 weeks I was already 70% efaced...yikes! Nobody cared about my cervix when I was pregnant and I'm bummed that I missed out on an u/s. But I did get to see her at 4.5 weeks, so that was cool - except she was just a little circle then. Ah, the joys of seeing an RE. I liked the drink too! Tasty stuff! :D Is the u/s check of your cervix a standard test your doctor does, or is it because of your history?
