Boarding school is unlike any other experience. Yea, I’m sure some people would try to compare it to a really long summer camp, but they obviously didn’t go to boarding school. I personally loved it. I had the most excellent high school experience…really, it was awesome!
St. Paul’s campus is really quite large. I’m pretty sure it’s bigger than the entire Concordia University, River Forest (er…Chicago) campus and prettier, too. The cernter of campus is the center classroom and administration building it’s called Baepler Hall. We just called it Baepler (that’s bep-ler, for you foreigners). I love that school…

Go Saints!
The weirdest thing about going away to school is that I don’t ever remember arguing with Mom and Dad in all my high school years. Is that because it didn’t happen, or because I don’t remember it? If we never argued, isn’t that weird? Maybe we should argue now.
Thoughts?
Are you sure this wasn’t Clown School? (just basing that on the few graduates I know)
Brad – Is it possible you were just a good kid? Doubt it.
I know for a fact that I was indeed a good kid!
I really wish you could Photoshop this so it was at night with scary lightening hitting that tower on top. Ka-BAM!!!
I think she already photoshopped some trees out of the picture. I seem to recall some trees on the right side of the Quad that were good for sneeking around and hiding under.
Yeah …
“The only power source capable of generating 1.2 jigawatts of electricity is a bolt of lightning!”
Great scott!!
Hail Saint Paul’s our Alma Mater,
Hail to thee our Blue and White.
I’ve been singing that in my head for 2 days now. Thanks Beth. The only thing that will get it out, is if I start singing the theme song from the Smurfs.
Dang it! I’m doomed.
