And you thought Nebraska fans were nuts.

I spent the weekend in Missouri.  I serve on the Alumni Association board for my high school, St. Paul’s Lutheran High in Concordia, MO.  We had a meeting.

After the meeting, I had dinner with friends and we spent some time driving around Concordia seeing the sights (not that there are many sights in a town of 2100) and the changes over the past 15 years since I graduated.  It was fun.  But perhaps the funniest thing I saw was this:

Hiding in the grass, right there.

Did you miss it?

Sorry it's dark...but seriously, that tiger is the size of a motorcycle!! Amazing!

And you thought Husker fans were nuts!

Is it sneaking up on a guy from Easter Island? What is that?

  2. Beth says:

Indeed! You should have seen the yard art this guy had! Next time you drive to Lloyd’s parents, just drive down Main Street in Concordia – you can’t miss this house!

1st–you said hiding in the grass, so that’s where I looked; for way too long. The grass does look like there might be something mowed out to make a picture or something.

2nd–I thought you went to high school in Nebraska.

    3rd–I like the tiger!

  4. Beth says:

A well known fact about the Royuk siblings…we all went to a boarding high school in Missouri. Weird, huh? Lloyd did, too, and that guy, Curt, who commented once, he did, too.
It’s almost like we boarding school kids roam around in packs or something…

  5. Karla says:

Almost? You do! And I only say you because I was a day student. We have a pack of our own.
Oh man, do I want to ask you a question about your meeting, but I don’t know the scope of your audience, so I better keep my yap shut…

  6. Brad says:

Ha! This tiger is AWESOME! I have been wanting to put some sculputre in my garden for a while now. Maybe it should be a tiger! Or a rat.

  7. Lauren says:

Would you consider stuffing rats and mounting them in diorama-like displays in your yard? Maybe they could act out ‘Godspell’.
