The fruits of her labor.

Indeed, Tara the Dandelion thief.  Most people consider it a service, to me it’s a labor of love.  Here’s the bouquet picked just for Mommy!

Dandelions: thieved from the side of the road

“Vase”: from the cabinet right of the sink

Water: straight from the tap

Bouquet picked just for Mommy: the prettiest one ever

My first bouquet from Tara. Priceless.

  1. Brad says:

I went searching for the origins of the dandelion because I know it is not native to the USA. I thought there was some story about an Irish guy smuggling seeds here inside his cane, but in the end I couldn’t find how they got over here. Most sites said they were native to Eurasia and have now spread throughout the entire Northern Hemisphere.

    This quote made me laugh:

The dandelion has no origin; rather, its seeds came into existence at the Big Bang and dispersed through all the dimensions of spacetime, like background radiation and logic.

Don’t you know the legend of Johnny Dandelionseed?

  3. Michele says:

Ha! I’m sooooo sleepy Lauren, but you got the first chuckle out of me this morning. Johnny Dandelionseed – what a hoot!

Things from our children are always priceless! My oldest used to give me rocks. He would look all over the yard to find a “good one”. I displayed them proudly on the window sill.
