Sunday School.

Today was a milestone in Tara’s young life.  Her first day of Sunday School.  Our church has a really neat program for two year olds, and with Tara’s 2nd birthday only 6 days away, she was invited to come join as this was the beginning of a four week session for Easter.  Here’s her invitation:

 Calling all two year olds!!

I would have taken my camera to take pictures, but I don’t like to look like a psycho Mom, and no one would have understood that I was taking pictures solely for my website, NOT for some crazy scrapbook that I keep for her (because I don’t document every moment of her life…I’m only crazy on some levels).

She was a total doll (of course).  The first segment is a structured play time, then a short singing and Bible story time (and yes, Tara did sing :D ).  And it ends with a snack for the kids while the parents have a little instruction time ourselves.  It was cool.  And, Tara is learning so fast…I love that she has such a fun opportunity!

Good for you, Tara, happy Sunday schooling!

Congratulations, Tara, on this most auspicious occasion!

Crap! I haven’t sent you your present yet. Good ol’ forgetful Uncle Brad. At least his heart is in the right place… Excuse me, I have to go do something now that has nothing to do with birthdays. Yes, because I’m completely on top of that.

Don’t let Tara read her uncle’s comment. Two words might scare her … auspicious & crap.

Have fun Tara!! Sounds like you have a GREAT program. And Beth, be sure to post projects made by one Tara Doll.

  3. Lauren says:

Hooray for Sunday School! (Sounds like ‘hooray for Hollywood.)

God bless the leaders of the two-year-old class! Toddlers are a little alien to me, and I have great respect for anyone who can get them to do anything.

Let them think you’re nuts – take pictures!
