Junk drawer.

In the Royuk family there is traditionally a “junk drawer” in the kitchen.  It contains any weird varitey of things that may not be found anywhere else in the house…do you have a junk drawer in your kitchen?  What’s the weirdest thing in it?

Here’s ours:

 Junk of various sorts.

I think the weirdest thing in ours is all the little gold pins and bars from Harold’s high school letter jacket in a baggie.  I don’t have any idea why they’re there, and for that matter why they aren’t on his jacket, which is hanging in the closet, but there they are.  Weird.

Actually the weirdest thing in your junk drawer is the extreme organization. It’s called a junk drawer so the drawer can be a hodge podge of unrecognizable stuff. Visit a junk yard, and you’ll get the idea. (Weirdest thing in my junk drawer: a doll arm)

I had to go look… There isn’t anything weird in my junk drawer. I only just put everything in it a couple of months ago, so it all makes sense still. But that’s pretty weird in itself, isn’t it?

I too have a fairly organized junk drawer, although it is not as nice as yours. The strangest things in my kitchen junk drawer are my kids’ baby teeth!

My junk drawer is referred to as ‘my house’. Ha!

Actually, we have a couple of junk drawers – one in the kitchen, one in the dining room, and one in each bathroom. (I guess everyplace that has a drawer, at least one is junky.)
