Really that title will likely only be funny to Brad, I’m sure some of you were wondering what the heck happened to me the past few days. Rest assured, I’m not dead. Just travel weary, and unfortunately I have picked up a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad head cold. And so, while I’m not dead, I have been tetering right on the brink of wishful thinking…
While we were in Baltimore, so many very fun, very wonderful things happened. I don’t really have a place to begin. So, here are a couple highlights:

Tara’s first flight when she knew what was going on (it’s actually her third flight, but the first two she was too little to care).

Eating a crabcake. I don’t care for seafood of anykind, but thought out of respect for Peggy’s wishes, I would order the “Surf and Turf” and try the crabcake. It tasted like crab, therefore, I didn’t really care for it. But I’m a big fan of continuing to try things you don’t like because tastes change, and I don’t like it when people claim not to like something they haven’t eaten since they were 6 years old. My tastes have not changed much, though I do find I can now tolerate crab, I just don’t care for it.

Birds at the Aquarium in Baltimore (very beautiful).

And, a happy Bobbie when we returned home.
We miss Uncle Brad’s, but it really is always good to get back home.
(Actually, I almost put out a “Are you dead?” or “Are you hi’jacked?” comment … glad neither was the case)
I’m so proud of you for trying the crab cake! I guess it’s an acquired taste … like red beer … I LOVE seafood & seeing the picture of the crab cake is making my mouth water!!!! Must go to Crack Pot in Bel Air now … and please tell me that someone ate the rest of your crab cake … it wasn’t thrown away was it? Glad you had a good time!
PS Don’t let anyone in MD hear you say you can tolerate crab … it would be like living in Pittsburg saying you can tolerate the Steelers.
Don’t let Bobbie see those birds – she’ll jump into the next photo.
Congratulations on being not dead!
Sorry you got sick, though.
I hope it passes quickly. I had only one really bad day, so hopefully you’ll be quick too.
