At last…

I don’t even have a picture to celebrate.  I forgot my camera, but Lauren took some pictures and perhaps she’ll post some, or at least email them to me so I can, instead I’m just posting a picture of my parents…

Mom and Dad, finally after 18 months (almost to the day) of having their belongings all over tarnation, have all their stuff in one place.  Their own house.  We moved the last of things this evening with the help of a couple football players, Lloyd, Lauren and our friend Kevin (who’s strong as an ox, no kidding).  Six pick-up loads and we’re done.

It’s a good feeling for them.  Congratulations Mom and Dad!  It’s been quite a ride!

Hooray! Hooray! The house is awesome, and it’s exciting to get it all fixed up at this stage. Your parents have to feel like it’s Christmas – all those boxes that haven’t been opened in a year and a half! I’ll get some picture sent.

Mom and Dad are no longer homeless? “Homeless… Homeless… Homeless living on a midnight lake” (It’s Ladysmith Black Mambazo… ask Lloyd and Lauren)
