New Equipment.

I have been looking for a new manicure set for a number of years.  My old one really is needing retirement.  I got it from my Aunt Gloria for Christmas sometime in High School (which means it’s not too shy of 20 years old).  But, finding a replacement…that has been a journey.

I’m picky.  I have certain tools that must be present and the case really needed to by lovely enough for me to hang on to for my next 20 years of nail-doing-stress-relief.  And then, it happened.  Just by chance a couple weeks ago Mom and I were in Bath & Body Works and there it was.  Sitting on the 50% off shelf all by itself in it’s glory…waiting to be mine.

Isn’t it lovely?

The beautiful, mother-of-pearl-essence, white case...the picture doesn't do it justice, it's dark because of the close shot...

And all the right tools...

It looks so innocent, so shiny, so precise.yet Like when I first opened my do-it-yourself surgery kit!

This is funny because just last night in my Bible study group, George announced he’d had his first pedicure ever. He said it was getting harder to do his own nails. (He’s nearing 80 I think). Anyway, he LOVED it! He said he’d definitely be doing it again. Hehe.

I wonder what 80 year old male feet look like … Brad can you get a before & after picture when he gets his next pedicure?

Or Beth … are you game to use your new kit on George?
