Ah, the new year…

I don’t do New Year’s Resolutions.  I am of the opinion that if it’s worth doing on January 1, it’s worth doing whenever you think of it, so why put it off…but that’s beside the point.

I wanted to be a more regular poster on my site (I’m pretty sure none of you even visit anymore), and alas, the 1st of January came and went…and so I’m posting on the 2nd and hoping I can at least do every other day if not every day…we’ll see…

For New Year’s Eve we started a new tradition.  FONDUE!  I love fondue and think we should do it more regularly, thus the first annual Pester Fondue Rockin’ New Year’s Eve tradition has been born:

The spread (on a beatiful runner given to me by my friend, Jill, I might add).

The strawberries were the big hit for the chocolate, and the pineapple the most unexpected favorite.

The feast begins...

I think the beer bread was the favorite for the cheese…or perhaps the apples…we’ll call it a tie.

Happy New Year!!

Woo-hoo! Way to post! May I be the first to agree that the Pester Fondue Rockin’ New Year’s Eve was a complete hit! You guys put the ‘Fon’ in ‘Fondue!

(By the way, I visit daily – I’m a true blue fan.)

Yay for the post! I’m sure it’s been hard to do, what with your vomiting and all. I gotta give you props, dog. You’re doing better with the hurling than I would.

Cool fondue pics. I think the beer bread was the favorite for the cheese. People were still eating apples long after the bread was gone.

(Haha.. I said “props”. I don’t even really know what that means. I called you “dog”, too. But I only mean it in the nicest way, bless your heart.)

Ooh, ooh, there’s my runner! But, alas, it’s too short. Bummer. Oh well, it looks great anyway. Glad you guys are doing fondue now too! It’s our favorite tradition. In 2008, we can have 3 pots going! I can’t wait!
