The cause of that last nasty post…

Sorry it’s taken a while to move on from that last post…I was waiting for this:

Little hormonal, barf causing, pain in my temples, bless it's heart :)!

The cause.  Meet Baby Pester.  Baby is about 18mm (think red kidney bean) and is the smudge between the two sets of cross hairs in the picture.  And while you may be thinking the little circle above it’s head is a halo (which, of course it IS), it’s actually the yolk sac.  It’s little heart is beating like crazy and is comfortably resting (actually lounging way back given uterus location, ew, I wrote uterus), while I’m still yacking my guts out.

There’s the cause, baby Pester.

I’m sorry to break this to you, but that sonogram is of Christine Stevens from Maryland. It says so in the upper left corner.

I don’t know - that looks a lot like the pictures from my colonoscopy. Are you sure you’re pregnant? I’m sorry - are you sure Christine’s pregnant?

Let me be the first with a NICE comment! I got a little lump in my throat when I saw the sonogram - brings back memories of my three. It’s an awesome thing - another gift from God growing inside of you - what joy! I love your little kidney bean and I also want to thank you for the precise measurement (we are doing metric and customary measurement in my math classes at the moment - I might use you as an example today and ask them to imagine being only 18mm long!)

Give me a few weeks and I’ll have a kidney bean too.
